We interviewed Lucas Heldfond, proprietor of Rocky Hill, and grandson of Richard Dinner, the famed namesake of Sonoma's Richard Dinner Vineyard, which is where the fruit that goes into his wines comes from. The Richard Dinner Vineyard supplies fruit to some of the best winemakers in California, perhaps none more notable than Paul Hobbs. The 2007 vintage of Rocky Hill's flagship wine, the proprietary red blend, received 93 points from Wine Enthusiast and the 2008 vintage received 94 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
