Winestyr Review

This is a rare and exquisite single-vineyard wine from one of Oregon's most storied and influential producers of Pinot Noir. Deep, dark, and seductive, this wine has great structure and elegant, yet powerful, red and black fruit flavors. Tying the entire package together are perfectly integrated notes of forest floor, humidor, and a hint of warming spices. This wine is a true stunner and would be great to open on a special occasion or as a gift to a well-versed wine drinker. Aged in 31% new French oak for 10 months. 100% Pinot Noir. 93pts from Wine Enthusiast. 488 cases produced.

Adelsheim Vineyard

Adelsheim (pronounced Addels-Heim) was founded in 1971 by David and Ginny Adelsheim with one pursuit: to create world-class wines in the undiscovered wine region that would later become Chehalem Mountains AVA, a venerable subregion of Oregon's famous Willamette Valley. One of the original, most influential, and most important producers of the region, Adelsheim has a long track record of producing some of the finest Burgundian-style Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays produced domestically. We're very proud to add some of their most exclusive wines to our portfolio.

This wine exceeds expectations from the moment you take your first sip. I am NOT a 100% Pinot drinker as I lean toward Cabs. This maintains some of my expectations for a lighter drinking red, with all the body and fullness of a cab. PLEASE PLEASE buy this wine!
