Winestyr Review

Selective vineyards and winemaking practices were utilized to create a powerful yet balanced Cabernet Sauvignon that demonstrates the advantages that WA State has in the world of winemaking - longer growing days, deficit irrigation and minerally rich soils. This Cabernet Sauvignon is one that you will want to enjoy for many years to come as it develops in the bottle and with aging. The fruit is black as night on the nose and the palate is also dominated by dark fruit, vibrant blackberry, deep dark currant and plum with a touch of light spice and smooth tannins. Aged for 20 months in a combination of French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels. 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Malbec, 3% Merlot. 90pts from Wine Spectator. 2,015 cases produced.

Bergevin Lane Winery

Established in 2002 by two friends pursuing a shared dream, Bergevin Lane Winery nurtures wines that embody the truly unique environment of Walla Walla, Columbia and Yakima Valleys and the distinct single vineyards from where the rich terrestrial wines come from. Bergevin's northerly latitude provides for an extended growing season with long sunshine filled days balanced by cool evening temperatures. This allows grapes to develop flavor and complexity slowly, while retaining natural acidity. We're a big fan of their wines and look forward to many more exciting vintages from Bergevin Lane.
