Varietal Pinot Noir

Vintage 2013

Winestyr Review

This is a really well balanced Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast. Wild, earthy aromatics and subtle tannins make for a very complex Pinot Noir that we'd drink all day long or pair with a grilled salmon dish. Aged in French oak for 20 months and only 216 cases produced.

Coquerel Family Wine Estates

With the 2005 purchase of their first estate vineyard, Coquerel Family Wine Estates began producing exceptional Napa Valley red and white wines under the guiding hand of winemaker Christine Barbe, who earned her Ph.D in 1996 from the Bordeaux Institute of Enology. The winery is located just beyond the town of Calistoga at the north end of the Napa Valley and the heart and soul of Coquerel Wines is their estate “Walnut Wash” vineyard, a gorgeous, oak-studded property that sits in the afternoon shadows of the Mayacamas Mountains. Pure, crisp whites and powerful, yet sophisticated, reds have become their hallmark; a true melding of Napa Valley intensity and French elegance.
