This was the wine Blair and I used as a palate cleanser while tasting Stewart NOMAD Cabernet back to the late 1990s, but then we found ourselves just refilling our glasses with Picpoul to sit back and enjoy it. Sourced from the Rorick Heritage Vineyard high in the Sierras, the wine sees neutral barrel and stainless steel to preserve its beautiful freshness.
It doesn’t take long to see why Blair started Guthrie Family Wines as his creative outlet to supplement his day job of crafting the critically acclaimed wines of Stewart Cellars. As the name suggests though, it’s still all in the family. As he puts it, the wines he makes represent everything he loves and believes in: love for wine, family, and the dream that he lives everyday in wine country.
