The 2018 La Cruz Pinot Gris is a bright, dry, and almost refreshing example of this humble grape variety. The grapes from from the lower portions of the La Cruz Vineyard, sheltered from the wine and benefitting from the ancient seabed soils. Intense and perfumed, enjoy this wine with everything from cured meats to slow roasts and smoked fish.
Since taking over the reins in 1998, Ana Keller has guided this estate to near cult status amongst the most insightful Pinot Noir and Chardonnay collectors in the country. With Julien Teichmann in control of winemaking, the estate crafts wines truly reflective of terroir, resulting in balanced wines with grace and longevity. In 2013 Ana joined the Petaluma Gap WineGrowers Alliance's board and was instrumental in creating the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) which was ultimately granted in 2018.
