Varietal Pinot Noir

Vintage 2010

Winestyr Review

This is another truly fantastic wine from Kendric. One thing I look for in small-production wineries is a true stamp of style and Kendric really has it. This is another racy and complex Pinot Noir with layers of earth and lots of fruit. Another wine that is definitely geared toward wine lovers - specifically Pinot fans - this wine won't disappoint. Loads of acid, cherry, and dried fruit lead to an almost primal finish of dark fruit and wet earth - and the faintest hints of vanilla, cola, and spice. Seductive. 588 cases produced.

Kendric Vineyards

Kendric Vineyards is a small wine producer know for making racy, cool weather Pinot Noir in Marin County with very little oak, lots of acid, and intense complexity. The name Kendric comes from proprietor Stewart Johnson's late father who was instrumental in starting the Kendric Vineyards project. The importance of the name on the label is indicative of the care and passion that go into the production of each vintage - and the wines are exceptional.
