This is a dark and dusky Grenache from the rugged El Dorado AVA, right at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Wine grapes were introduced to this area during the California Gold Rush in the 19th century, and the grapes that went into this specific wine should be worth more than gold. We can't say enough good things about this minerally, brambly, acidic, and tannic Grenache. This wine is bright and dark at the same time and its mouthwatering finish will make you come back for another glass. Wow. Only 110 cases produced.
