I was very impressed by this Napa Valley Merlot because of how robust and drinkable it was for this price point. Distinctly Napa Valley, this wine has bright cherry and raspberry flavors up front which give way to spice, chocolate, and herbs. Made by Jay Buoncristiani of Buoncristiani fame, this wine is a great value and a perfect house red.
Osso Anna is a project that arose out of a critically-acclaimed Napa winemaker's need for great Napa Valley wines he could drink every day as well as serve to friends and family at parties and get togethers. Jay Buoncristiani (of Buoncristiani Family Winery fame) couldn't find wines that fit the high quality and low price point he was looking for decided to take matters into his own hands and that's where Osso Anna found its genesis.
