This dry Riesling hails from the Bradley vineyard which lies in the Elkton Oregon AVA which is one of the Umpqua Valley's coldest areas with direct maritime influence from the Pacific ocean. The resulting wine is one of the most intriguing white wines I've tasted in the past few years. Lipsmacking acidity, crazy complex aromatics and flavors, and a complex, viscous-yet-weighty mouthfeel make this wine one you'll want to keep drinking. John and Ksenija House are truly pushing the envelope when it comes to what is possible with single-vineyard Rieslings in grown in Oregon, and these wines rival some of the better examples from the old world at a fraction of the cost. Very, very impressive. 100% Riesling. 92pts from Wine Enthusiast. 228 cases produced.
Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended.
