Originally seen as a bit too cool of a harvest, Ovum went through the vineyard and exposed these grapes to a bit more sunshine for late ripening. Unbeknownst to them, a warm wind swept through the vineyard and caused immense concentration within the grapes and when they went to harvest, the sugar levels had jumped while acids remained balanced. The result? The most aromatically powerful wine we've tasted this year and a serious contender for wine of the vintage. Note, this wine was bottled in 500ml bottles.
Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended.
