This is a dark, deep, and voluptuous beauty from the Glenrose Vineyard in the Adelaida District AVA in Paso Robles. The blend is 85% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre, and the intense dark fruit flavors jump from the glass. Full bodied with great structure and expertly integrated oak, this wine is as delectable as it is intriguing down to the last drop. Aged for 14 months in 15% new French oak. 125 cases produced.
Paix Sur Terre, French for "Peace on Earth," has quickly become one of Paso Robles’ most sought after and critically acclaimed wineries. They focus on balanced, mineral-driven wines made in small lots with fruit from some of the region’s best vineyards. Attention first went to their single vineyard Mourvedre wines but Ryan has shown that Paso can indeed produce world class white wines from grapes like Picpoul and Clairette Blanche.
