Winestyr Review

This is a stunning Pinot Noir from the Sanford & Benedict vineyard in California's Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Pure and deep, the fruit for this wine comes from the original, own-rooted Pinot Noir block planted by Richard Sanford in 1971 - the oldest Pinot Noir block in Santa Barbara County. Beautifully balanced fruit and minerality, impeccable structure, and an understated elegance make this wine a true standout. 92+pts from Antonio Galloni. 174 cases produced.

Sandhi Wines

Sandhi is a small production California winery focusing on select vineyards from the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. The partnership of Raj and Sashi has continuously championed the unions essential to the production of wine: the collaboration between man, earth, and vine. The willing participation of all three elements is necessary to make great wine, and the winegrower must make this collaboration rich and nourishing for all involved. An understanding of these joint efforts informs Sandhi’s exploration of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines throughout the Santa Barbara County terroir.
