With 5 years under its belt, this Chardonnay from the Sta. Rita Hills is absolutely singing right now. Nervy, bordering on electric, this is a bright, pure, and crisp expression of Chardonnay that will make even the staunchest of the "ABC" (anything but Chardonnay) crowd have a change of heart. Citrus notes of lemon and lime and a deeply satisfying mineral and saline core, with just a hint of brioche make this perfect for pairing with hors d'oeuvres, creamy cheeses, or any raw seafood. This wine is equally as enticing on its own. If there were a Chablis La Croix flavor, I have a feeling it would take inspiration from this wine. 90pts from Robert Parker, 90pts from Wine & Spirits. 2,300 cases produced.
Sandhi is a small production California winery focusing on select vineyards from the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. The partnership of Raj and Sashi has continuously championed the unions essential to the production of wine: the collaboration between man, earth, and vine.
