Here we have three vineyard blocks blended together, including high elevation sites on Pine Mountain and Chalk HIll, resulting in a sturdy but nonetheless fresh expression. Élevage takes place in used French oak barrels for 21 months before the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Their belief is to respect what the land offers, while ultimately delivering beautiful expressions of each grape to supporters of Smith Story Wine Cellars. The wines are made with classic, old world techniques which let the fruit and terroir speak for themselves. In addition to their mission of creating a world class winery, their started Socks for Sandwich, a non-profit organization that donates and promotes giving new socks to humans in need through the sale of their line of Lord Sandwich wines.
