First, about the vineyard. Gap's Crown is one of the Sonoma Coast's finest vineyard sites, sitting at the western base of Sonoma Mountain just outside of Penngrove. Sojourn sourced fruit from three distinct blocks, all of which sit above 800 feet elevation, to showcase the coolest micro-climate within the vineyard. Aged in 50% new oak, this is a Pinot Noir for lovers of classic California, bold structure, and want to see what 10 years cellar aging can do for this legendary vineyard site.
From the beginning, Sojourn Cellars was about ambition. It all started with just a handful of barrels of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and then came the critical reviews. The winery now produces 21 different wines per year, many of which are high-scoring single vineyard wines stockpiled by some of America’s most discerning collectors.
