This has to be one of our favorite values in true Napa Valley Cabernet. Sourced from a mix of acclaimed vineyards (including nearly half of it from Stagecoach), the finished wine spent 20 months in 70% new French oak, lending the wine that classic toasty, lush texture that we all know and love. While the wine will improve with age, we particularly love the fact that this wine is ready to drink and enjoy right now.
As land prices in Napa Valley continue to rise and the prices for grapes follow suit, there has never been a more difficult time to offer honest, compelling wines at accessible price points from California's cradle of winemaking. Casey Stringer is out to change that. Stringer Cellars is a true family operation, with Casey's brothers assisting in sales and his wife, Brooke, running things behind at the tasting room bar.
