This is a fun wine and great for parties or hanging out outside. Spicy and masculine with plenty of fruit to make it easydrinking, the 2010 Violet Crown from The Austin Winery would pair well with anything off the grill, but I'd drink it with Carne Asada tacos. Aged for 15 months in primarily 1 year old French oak and then transferred to neutral oak for an additional 16 months. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. 470 cases produced.
