Ty Caton returned to his hometown of Sonoma in 1997 determined to turn his family's 108 acre ranch, located in the prestigious Moon Mountain District AVA, into a prime vineyard. Today, 40 of the 108 acres are planted to wine grapes, and they produce about 10,000 cases of critically acclaimed wine per year.
