by Silver Ghost
This trio contains three of our favorite Napa Valley reds. The Jefferson Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa's Monticello Vineyards has a highly acclaimed pedigree and is one of our best-selling Napa Cabs. Robust, well-structured, and balanced, it has ripe fruit flavors with a backbone of perfectly integrated oak. The 2016 Buoncristiani O.P.C. Proprietary red is not to be outdone - also made with fruit from some of Napa's best vineyards, this is one of the sleekest wines we taste each year. Sophisticated and well made, this wine garners serious critical acclaim year after year; the 2014 vintage recently received a whopping 95 point score from Robert Parker. Lastly, the 2016 Silver Ghost Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a Winestyr member favorite every year due to its plush texture and extremely generous combination of fruit, spice, and an ever lasting finish.
Are the wines any good? Yes, they are and we taste every wine that is considered for our site. We seek out the best wines from the best small-producers in the U.S. and Winestyr is a collection of our favorites. Most of the wines have impressive accolades, however, don't look for "expert" ratings here - we think it's more important to buy wines you find interesting and to decide for yourself.
