Syrah loves judicious use of whole cluster and that's what we have here. Notes of smoked meat, curing spices, paprika, leather, and lush blackberry. Just about 14% of the wine saw new oak, rounding out the voluptuous finish with a hint of vanilla and clove. Just an enveloping texture to the wine that lingers for minutes.
