Winestyr Review

Anaba is consistently producing one of my favorite California Chardonnays year after year. This expression of Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast AVA is beautifully balanced with bright, crisp flavors and a perfect backbone of baking spices and toasted oak. This wine finds that happy middle of Chardonnay (not too buttery, not too lean) that pleases Chardonnay connoisseurs and those who've sworn off of Chardonnay, alike. This wine is truly enjoyable and would pair well with a wide variety of foods and cheeses due to its balanced nature. 92pts from Antonio Galloni, 91pts from Wine Enthusiast. 887 cases produced.

Anaba Wines

In 2009, Anaba became the first winery in Northern California to utilize wind power - its 45 foot wind turbine generates electricity for the tasting room, wine storage facility, offices, and irrigation pumps. The name Anaba originates from cool, upward-flowing anabatic winds that soar and swirl through its sustainably-farmed Carneros Estate vineyards. Anaba's Rhône-style wines are artistic blends, inspired by the rugged earthiness of France's Rhône Valley, while their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs reflect the elegance and grace of the gently sloping vineyards found in Burgundy.
