This is a great value red table wine from California. Ripe and fruit-forward without being obnoxious or vapid, this wine outdrinks virtually everything we've tasted in this price range. While it doesn't offer much with regard to terroir or complexity, it is a very enjoyable red, bursting with dark red and purple fruit and kiss of oak. This is a great wine for tailgating, bbqing, or just to have around for every day drinking.

Are the wines any good? Yes, they are and we taste every wine that is considered for our site. We seek out the best wines from the best small-producers in the U.S. and Winestyr is a collection of our favorites. Most of the wines have impressive accolades, however, don't look for "expert" ratings here - we think it's more important to buy wines you find interesting and to decide for yourself.
