When the Foster family first visited the rugged slopes of Pine Mountain, they knew they had discovered the perfect place to grow world-class Bordeaux wine grapes. Along with Ben and Tara Sharp, and founding winemakers May-Britt and Denis Malbec, they launched Captûre Wines in 2008, on a parcel of land that rises from 1,600 to 2,500 feet above the Alexander Valley floor in Sonoma County, California - a picturesque spot with breathtaking views and a rich winegrowing heritage.
