The Big Red pack from Desert Wind has 2 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon and 1 bottle of Desert Wind's awesome red blend, called Ruah. Both are excellent deep red wines, and absolutely steals at this price point. They have a bit less tannins than some of their California counterparts, but have great fruit and structure making these perfect for drinking anytime.
Desert Wind's beautiful winery is perched on a bluff overlooking the Yakima River. Their two estate vineyards lie at the foot of the Saddle Mountains in Eastern Washington's Columbia Valley region known for its fierce summer conditions. Desert Wind's wines are handcrafted using small lots of fruit and extended barrel aging to create unique flavors. These wines are some of best values we've come across.More from this winery
Are the wines any good? Yes, they are and we taste every wine that is considered for our site. We seek out the best wines from the best small-producers in the U.S. and Winestyr is a collection of our favorites. Most of the wines have impressive accolades, however, don't look for "expert" ratings here - we think it's more important to buy wines you find interesting and to decide for yourself.
