Winestyr Review

This is an absolutely outstanding Northern Rhone style wine from Walla Walla, Washington. Sexy and complex, with high toned fruit and great aromatics, this Rhone-inspired beauty is comprised of 94% Syrah co-fermented with 6% Viognier. This is a great wine for true wine fans and represents the cutting edge of craft winemaking in Washington. We expect big things from this brand new producer. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with no additives save for small amounts of sulfur. 166 cases produced.

Elephant Seven

Elephant Seven wines is the creation of Joshua West, who abruptly decided to leave his job at one of the world's largest investment banks to pursue his passion for fine wine and winemaking. One month later, he found himself working harvest at New Zealand's Whitehaven Winery. From there, he continued to hone his craft at Figgins, Cadaretta, and Dusted Valley in Walla Walla. Josh was inspired by Denver, Colorado's legendary Elephant Six music collective, hence name for his wine label. His initial releases were stunning and Josh is already a new winemaker to watch. We're excited to have his micro-production wines as part of the Winestyr portfolio and wine clubs.
