750 ML / 13.6% ABV
Freshly picked blackberries, sea salt, and bitter dark chocolate. A bouquet of roses. Turn up the volume on the finish, radicchio, pickled radish, blueberries. Astringent finish that has cleansing acidity. There is a savory note here that really carries through the carbonic aromatics. A serious wine that's ready to play immediately.
Lockwood’s journey took him from a guitar repair shop to a relatively remote vineyard in eastern Napa before he landed with Ehren Jordan at the venerable Failla Wines. It was through his work there, managing crucial vineyard relationships throughout Northern California, that he decided to start Enfield Wine Co. as a small side project. By 2013, he was ready to commit full-time to the brand and we’re all luckier for it. His wines are consistently praised by critics, sommeliers, and enthusiasts alike for being incredibly fresh yet not lacking any seriousness whatsoever. In the end, Enfield showcases wines capable of drinking today, tomorrow, and for many years to come.
