Grenache may not have found its footing in much of Lake County (at least compared to Santa Barbara County) but this wine should definitely help the cause. The aromatics here are explosive and complex, probably thanks to the neutral barrel that really let the wine mature slowly and softly. We're interested in what some bottle age would accomplish here, but this is ready to pop and pour night one.
