750 ML / 13.5% ABV
This is a wonderful, wonderful food wine. Bright Russian River Valley fruit is counterbalanced by hints of french oak and dry nuttiness from the lees. A beautifully crafted Chardonnay that exudes grace and balance. Fermented and aged in 20% new French oak, minimal malolactic fermentation, and frequent stirring of the lees. 175 cases produced.
What started as a love for and passion to explore the world of wine while living in Chicago soon blossomed into the real thing for Brooks Friedeman. The first vintage was particularly small, only 250 cases produced, and the Friedemans sold nearly all of it to a select few accounts back home in the Windy City. Momentum picked up the following year when Wine Spectator awarded each and every wine of their 90 or more points. Supporting and celebrating wineries like Friedeman Wines is at the heart of everything Winestyr hopes to represent.
