This is a stunning left bank Bordeaux style wine from Napa Valley's famed Spring Mountain District AVA. Made with 100% estate fruit from Juslyn's 42-acre vineyard site, this wine exudes the power, sophistication, and depth of flavor that has made the Napa Valley so famous. Deep purple and black fruit flavors are melded perfectly with notes of sandalwood, spice, and earth. This wine is drinking beautifully now, but has the structure to age in the cellar gracefully for 10+ years. In 1997, their dream became a reality when Perry and Carolyn Butler sold their computer business and founded Juslyn Vineyards on a site overlooking the renowned Spring Mountain Winery. The name, Juslyn, is derived from the names, Justine (the Butlers' daughter) and Carolyn. In 1998, they made their first vintage of Juslyn from grapes purchased from Andy Beckstoffer as they waited patiently for their own vines to mature. Their patience paid off in 2000, when they were able to harvest their estate for the first time to produce 80 cases of Spring Mountain cabernet sauvignon.
