Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended. Using their extensive contacts in the valley, this new venture is a way to expand those offerings.
Where the Ovum wines are primarily sourced from southern Oregon, JW House Wines explores the terroir of the Willamette Valley and pays tribute to the founding farmers of the region. Pinot Noir is the area's calling card, of course, and the relationships cultivated by Ksenija and John allowed them this unique chance to bring consumers into the premier wines of the valley.
