The Las Jaras 2021 Pinot Noir comes from the organically farmed La Belle Promenade Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains above the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Part of the final lots is left whole cluster and the wine is softly aged in neutral barrels. The result is incredibly perfumed, elegant, and in a bright but restrained style.
What do experienced winemakers and avant garde comedians have in common? Well, it turns out, a love for all things delicious. Las Jaras (translation: the arrows) started off with their now famous Sweet Berry Wine as a way to introduce comedy fans to the world of natural wines, creating the perfect harmony. Founded by accomplished winemaker Joel Burt and his friend, and famed actor/director/author/food blogger Eric Wareheim, Las Jaras quickly became one of the hottest brands in the natural wine scene.
