Winestyr Review

The Lemelson Vineyards 2018 Thea's Selection Pinot Noir comes from seven organic, estate vineyards, all blended together here to showcase Lemelson's beautiful house style of silky texture and ripe fruit sets. Just because it's an entry level wine, don't be mistaken: this is a serious Pinot Noir for short-term or long-term consumption. 93pts James Suckling

Lemelson Vineyards

Eric Lemelson started Lemelson Vineyards with the long view in mind, first planting vines in 1995 before investing in another 30 acres just two years later. With the release of the estate's inaugural vintage in 2001, Lemelson announced its arrival to the masses. The winery sits just a few minutes east of Carlton, the kind of sleepy wine country town that makes all of us consider packing up our lives and starting over there.
