The Lemelson Vineyards 2021 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a new bottling for this progressive estate, located in the northern reaches of the valley. Aged for 8 months in 11% new french oak barrels, there's plenty of vibrating complexity here but for us, this wine is about bright, clean fruit and a long, mouth-watering finish.
Eric Lemelson started Lemelson Vineyards with the long view in mind, first planting vines in 1995 before investing in another 30 acres just two years later. With the release of the estate's inaugural vintage in 2001, Lemelson announced its arrival to the masses. The winery sits just a few minutes east of Carlton, the kind of sleepy wine country town that makes all of us consider packing up our lives and starting over there.Learn More
