This refreshing white from acclaimed producer, Lieu Dit, is made with organic grapes sourced from some of Santa Barbara's most famous vineyards including the Jurassic Park vineyard, so named the fossil-rich soils. The name "Blanc de Mer" translates to "white of the sea" and this energetic blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chenin Blanc is exactly that. Light on its feet with zippy acidity and a delicious saline note, the wine is dominated with notes of honeysuckle and fresh white flowers. 90pts Vinous.
In the ten years since Eric Railsback and Justin Willett decided to turn their friendship into a winery, Lieu Dit has ascended to the top of Santa Barbara County's thriving scene of low-intervention winemaking that aims to bottle the country's more fresh, elegant side. These wines pop up on the best wine lists in many cities we visit and it was only a matter of time until we had them to offer on the Winestyr platform.
