We keep going back to wines of Luminous Hills and Byron Dooley, as he produces some of the most compelling, fruit forward Pinot Noir year in and year out. Luminous Hills' estate vineyard continues to thrive in Yamhill-Carlton and this new vintage once again saw elevage in 20% new French oak for about 16 months.
Byron Dooley’s passion for wine began in college, was fostered around the world, enriched in Napa Valley, and continues through today. The story of how he found his way to his dream job began while Byron was attending Oregon State University. He and his wife, Dana, were first introduced to wine through wine tasting excursions that Byron can still recall today.
