Varietal Pinot Noir

Vintage 2012

Winestyr Review

This is a voluptuous, almost hedonistic Pinot Noir from the acclaimed Rita's Crown vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. This vineyard lies directly above famed vineyards such as Fiddlestix and Sea Smoke. This is a full-bodied Pinot Noir with a rich mouthfeel and impeccable balance. Layers of fruit, starting with bright and moving darker across the palate, along with great acid give way to a rich, smooth, lengthy, and laser-focused finish. A delectable Pinot that will have you coming back for more. Aged for 11 months sur lie in 50% new French oak. 253 cases produced.
