The 2023 Matthiasson Rosé is another vintage of what is consistently one of the best Rosés being produced in the U.S. Crisp, refreshing, and bone dry this wine has the bright floral notes that make Rosé so inviting, but it's the minerality, subtle salinity, and clean finish that make this wine so enticing.
Steve Matthiasson, who got his start as a heralded vineyard manager, and his wife, Jill Klein Matthiasson, an ivy league educated botanist, have become a formidable duo in the world of winemaking. The critical acclaim for their approach to farming, as well as their winemaking, and wines, seems to have no bounds.
