I have loved the Corley proprietary blend for years because it's such a sophisticated and understated wine that has so much humble, quiet, charisma that it almost has a chip on its shoulder. This vintage is no different - distinguished, sophisticated, and complex. 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot.
A Napa Valley mainstay, Monticello Vineyards is proud to be family owned and operated. The winery is now managed by its second generation of Corleys, sons Kevin, Chris, and Stephen. Their overriding philosophy is that great wines are made in the vineyards. While much of Napa Valley has gone the way of luxury brands promoting some sort of lifestyle over the substance of their wines, Monticello remains steadfast in the exact opposite mindset. Here it is about the vineyards and wine, that’s it.
