This is another fantastic vintage of Monticello's 100% estate grown Jefferson Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon. Bursting with ripe black cherry, mocha, and sweet oak, this is a ripe and vivacious wine with the structure to age for 10+ years. Velvety tannins and a great, round mouthfeel make this classic Napa Cab approachable in its youth, but cellar worthy to be sure. A perennial Winestyr fan favorite.
A Napa Valley mainstay, Monticello Vineyards is proud to be family owned and operated. The winery is now managed by its second generation of Corleys, sons Kevin, Chris, and Stephen. Their overriding philosophy is that great wines are made in the vineyards. While much of Napa Valley has gone the way of luxury brands promoting some sort of lifestyle over the substance of their wines, Monticello remains steadfast in the exact opposite mindset.
