This is an awesome Merlot for the price. This wine, from the Columbia Valley in the Pacific Northwest, has deep dark red fruit, good tannins, and a long finish. Would be excellent with heavier foods and will definitely change your mind if you're still skeptical about Merlot!
With wines named Cougar, Penetration, and Tease, Oregon's Naked Winery brings a refreshing approach to the often stuffy wine industry. The grapes for their red varietals (Syrah, Cabernet, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Merlot) are orgasmically grown in the hot and dry Apple Gate and Columbia Valley regions of Oregon and Washington respectively. Their other varietals (Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Muscat and Riesling) benefit from the cool pacific marine layers of the Willamette and Illinois Valleys to produce subtle and complex wines. Don't let the fun and provocative nature of these wines fool you, inside the bottle, you will find premium Oregon and Washington juice.
Are our wines any good? Yeah, they are. But don't look for "expert" ratings here - the wines we feature have excellent scores, but we think it's more important to buy wines with an occasion in mind. Rest assured, we've tasted everything we put on our site, and it's all good. Need some more specific recommendations? Chat us in the lower right box or drop us a line at email@example.com.
