I really like this wine and it is a tremendous value at $28. Big, bold, lush, spicy, and full bodied, this wine harnesses the wild characteristics of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah with a deft winemaking hand. The result is a masculine and sophisticated blend of 92% Zinfandel and 8% Petite Sirah that will impress wine lovers of all levels. Lots of American oak leave tame the bold fruit with notes of leather, pipe tobacco, and spicebox. This is a wine for sitting by the fire on a cold night and would also be a great pairing for hearty Italian dishes.
