Since 2011, husband and wife duo John and Ksenija Kostic House have worked with the likes of riesling, gewürztraminer, and muscat, setting out to celebrate Oregon's vibrant terroir and push past the limits of what American white wines were thought to be. This year, by way of EZY TGR, they added a Pinot Noir to their offerings in an effort to make sure that consumers could still enjoy "Reserve" level Pinot at a House-wine price...pun intended.
The calling card for Ovum is the fact that, with all of their white wines, winemaking remains the same across the board. This way, both varietal and vineyard character are at the forefront of every bottle. Speaking of vineyards, Ovum offers a unique perspective on Oregon’s diversity, largely working with sites in the warmer, more southern appellations of Rogue and Applegate Valley.
