The Radio-Coteau 2017 Dierke Pinot Noir hails from an organically farmed hillside vineyard in Russian River. This cuvée tends to require a bit of bottle age and thankfully, this library release has already taken care of that for you. The wine shows off powerful red and black fruits, with a backbone of pink peppercorn and palate cleansing acidity. 94 pts Vinous
From the get go, Eric Sussman wasted no time directing his focus towards exceptional vineyards in Anderson Valley and the true Sonoma Coast. While he was very much out in front of California's New Wave of wine, where producers focused on more Old World approaches in the vineyard and winery, the wines themselves remain as fresh and forward thinking today as they ever were. These wines are perennially allocated to the country's best restaurants and most discerning wine collectors, yet are built stylistically in a way that anyone and everyone can appreciate their beauty.
