This is a beautifully crafted Chardonnay from Rally Point Winemaker and Partner Time Burgess. Made in a style that will please both Chardonnay drinkers, and those who usually don't like Chardonnay, this wine is impeccably balanced and enjoyable. Crisp and refreshing, yet deep and full-bodied, all at once. Seemingly endless notes of green apple, white peach, and lemon blend effortlessly with a nice dose of minerality and very lightly toasted French Oak. Rally Point Wines was created by two Army veterans, Tim and Kate Burgess, who turned their love affair with wine country and winemaking into a business that gives back to the community in a meaningful way...not to mention they make world class wines. The name "Rally Point" is a military term that means a place to regroup during or after a mission, and now that Tim and Kate have completed their military service, they are giving back by donating a portion of Rally Point's sales to various veterans' organizations. Not only do we appreciate Rally Point's story and noble cause, we find their wines to be complex, unique, and right in our wheelhouse.
