Producer Russian River Vineyards

Varietal Pinot Noir

Vintage 2012

Winestyr Review

This is another great wine from Russian River Vineyards who is becoming one of my favorite new producers in the Russian River Valley. The beautiful label foreshadows what turns out to be an elegant, somewhat restrained Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with ample acidity and silky tannins. This is a seductive wine and we only have a tiny amount of it. When it's gone, it's gone forever.

Russian River Vineyards

Russian River Vineyards might be the coolest place to hang out in all of Sonoma County or Napa Valley. The patio and restaurant are like the world's first "wine garden" - tons of people hanging out, eating and drinking, and always great music. The views of the vineyard are incredible and the service is impeccable. Winemaker Gio Balistreri and James Reddick (who heads up pretty much everything else) are super cool guys and have done an amazing job creating an unique customer experience in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley. This place is so fun, it sort of feels like you're at a craft brewery. Their wines are superb and keep getting better.
