Another stunning library release from one of California's iconic wineries celebrating cool climate vine growing and minimal intervention winemaking. Mt. Carmel vineyard was planted 30 years ago and sits just above the famed Sea Smoke site, allowing itself the perfect balance between the radiant sun and cooling winds and fog of the nearby Pacific Ocean. This wine showcases its structural integrity with a rich mouthfeel, mouth watering acidity, and complexity in spades.
Sandhi is a small production California winery focusing on select vineyards from the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. The partnership of Raj and Sashi has continuously championed the unions essential to the production of wine: the collaboration between man, earth, and vine. The willing participation of all three elements is necessary to make great wine, and the winegrower must make this collaboration rich and nourishing for all involved.
