Rita's Crown is the highest vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation, affording it unencumbered southern exposure for its fruit to ripen ideally. More opulent than Sandhi's Bentrock Vineyard Chardonnay, this wine still maintains the hallmark length and acidity provided by the neighboring Pacific Ocean. What a thrilling, thrilling example.
Sandhi is a small production California winery focusing on select vineyards from the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. The partnership of Raj and Sashi has continuously championed the unions essential to the production of wine: the collaboration between man, earth, and vine.
