Too many Sonoma Sauvignon Blancs are produced with one thing in mind: make as much as possible for as cheap as possible because no one can tell the difference. Well, Smith Story Cellars defies that myth with gusto. Using grapes from Russian River, Knights Valley, and Sonoma Valley this is a Sauvignon Blanc with exuberant character and depth.
Smith Story Wine Cellars began with the land, places that are special to Eric and Ali (and their dog Sandwich!) throughout California and Europe. Their belief is to respect what the land offers, while ultimately delivering beautiful expressions of each grape to supporters of Smith Story Wine Cellars. The wines are made with classic, old world techniques which let the fruit and terroir speak for themselves. In addition to their mission of creating a world class winery, their started Socks for Sandwich, a non-profit organization that donates and promotes giving new socks to humans in need through the sale of their line of Lord Sandwich wines.
