This wine is largely sourced from the Oakville Ranch Vineyard, perched high above the valley floor at 1,000-1,400 feet of elevation. Small, concentrated berries were harvested and lightly pressed into 75% new oak for 20 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. The resulting wine showcases classic, bold Oakville richness and will be most enjoyed after an hour of decanting.
From the beginning, Sojourn Cellars was about ambition. It all started with just a handful of barrels of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and then came the critical reviews. The winery now produces 21 different wines per year, many of which are high-scoring single vineyard wines stockpiled by some of America’s most discerning collectors.
